yeah bro or oats is the other term for it just sprinkle a cup of it around the base of the plant maybe a cup when you mix your soil no need for anything else either helps make the buds rock solid without the use of potash

yeah i have used oats. fungi love them. just be sure to put some mulch or plastic or something over them to block the light and the fungi will chew em right up.

just a quick google search yielded this....

"Oats are an excellent source of manganese and molybdenum. They are also a very good source of phosphorus as well as a good source of copper, biotin, vitamin B1, magnesium, dietary fiber, chromium, zinc and protein."

if your grocery store carries bob's redmill products, you can get a good amount of oats for like 3 bucks. and also i buy their organic popcorn too which can be used for SST and its pretty damn cheap really. (as cheap or cheaper than coconut water prolly)

Never had a problem with mold but will keep that in mind
i wasn't saying that they were molding.... it's the fungi that really prefer the oats so if you just topdress and moisten some oats and place a cover over them of any kind to block the light, fungi will appear in a day or two and start breaking them down... which is what you want! it's good fungi not bad fungi.
