Pot Growers are dangerous terrorists

Every time I see a mexican with a bucket of water it strikes terror in my heart. Remember 9/11 when mexicans took down the WTC towers with bales of marijuana? Wait...no, sorry that was radical Muslims. lol
LMFAO, LMFAO, LMFAO

I can see how they are a menace to the national parks and forest lands causing damages to the land. However, I think they really inflated the cost of repairs. Last I heard, the land will pretty much heal itself after the plants are pulled up and the trash collected. I don't really understand the need for landscaping in the forest.
lol, exactly... the forest has dealt with much more serious forms of "terror"... like, being wiped out by volcanoes and burnt to a crisp... wonder how much it would cost to "repair" a forest fire?

Here's a radical idea to solve this problem. Legalize small personal gardens for personal use. Anybody can grow this stuff and personal gardens will cut down on the demand for commercially grown bud.

And I agree, FDD, labeling all growers as terrorists is just wrong. Too bad we can't file a class action suit for slander.
If the government wanted to stop the problem, it would have been legalized a long time ago.... but the war on drugs is becoming exactly like the war on terror - a war against anyone and everyone, that will never end.

One thing that I really, REALLY have a hard time grasping is decriminalizing small amounts of pot... how can it be legal to have, but illegal to get?

Time to go commit a victimless crime, be back later :blsmoke:

I havent kept up with the news lately to be honest. Makes me depressed.. too much bad shit in the world. But now that you mention these things, It is fucked up. but it seems like they are comparing us to the terrorists who blow up our buildings. they even go as far as saying we would join the terrorists, we're aiding them. Thats disgusting. I know i hate some things about this country, but I am thankful to be here. to have some freedoms.

no sarcasm. it really is a problem.
I remember hearing about these types of guerrilla grows back 15 years ago. Stuff like treble hooks hanging from tree limbs by fishing lines. Never really hear about stuff like that now in the news.

It's amazing that we can take high resolution pictures on Mars, but we don't have a clue what's going on in our own forests. 2,800 acres of cannabis? How does this fly under the radar?

i totally agree. i'm not sure what they are trying to do. is this another "reefer madness"? a last ditch effort? the cartel are terrorists to an extent. but to group ALL pot farmes and/or smokers to this group is just plain silly. funny thing is, most will believe it.

Biggest U.S. Cash Crop: Marijuana

"Marijuana has become a pervasive and ineradicable part of the economy of the United States," Gettman said. "The contribution of this market to the nation's gross domestic product is overlooked in the debate over effective control … The focus of public policy should be how to effectively control this market through regulation and taxation in order to achieve immediate and realistic goals, such as reducing teenage access."
A spokesperson for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy countered that marijuana use is an "inherently harmful activity" that lands more U.S. teens in addiction-treatment programs than all other drugs combined.

what the white house has failed to mention is that in many states these addiction-treatment programs are court ordered for first time offenders to avoid jail time when caught with misdemeanor amounts of pot hmmm interesting that they leave that out yes?

It depends entirely on the definition of 'terrorist.'

Definitions of Terrorist on the Web:
One who utilizes the systematic use of violence and intimidation to achieve political objectives, while disguised as a civilian non-combatant. The use of a civilian disguise while on operations exempts the perpetrator from protection under the Geneva Conventions, and consequently if captured they are liable for prosecution as common criminals.
www.aeroflight.co.uk/definitions.htmUse should be restricted specifically to references to people and nongovernmental organizations planning and executing acts of violence against civilian or noncombatant targets.
www.careerjournaleurope.com/columnists/styleandsubstance/glossary.htmla radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities
wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwnTerrorism is a controversial and subjective term with multiple definitions. One definition means a violent action targetting civilians exclusively. Another definition is the use or threatened use of violence for the purpose of creating fear in order to achieve a political, economic, religious, or ideological goal. ...

That's what google says.. I doubt it is the same as what the government is saying.

I can only guess that what they are trying to say is that people need to buy drugs, and if there skag heads they will do anything to get money for their stuff. e.g. robbing an old woman.

So if you look at it that way you can see how they come up with that idea.

You grow weed, you sell weed, people nick stuff and crap to get the weed. [if there like 10 year old kids..]

So technically there is a sense of terror..

I mean if there playing it like that... gangs that wear hoodies must be terrorists too..

I really think it is like a modern-day reefer madness. And yeah exactly, I hate the stereotyping. I guess its just the Big bad cartel terrorists giving us a bad name. thank goodness for NORML. I was reading an article in Skunk about a kickass attorney in La . Her father is one of the heads of NORML and her mother is an attorney also. Im glad there are some ppl fighting for our rights. id love to do something useful with my degree, and help out the research. And I also saw in another article that Govt weed apparently sucks ass. There is a scientist who says the medicinal fields in MS are full of sticks and stems and its not useful to even test. isnt that some shit.. I always thought the govt. would have some super potent stuff.
