why do you think your plant needs Pott ?

usually deficiencies are caused by 1 of 2 things
1 not enough nutes
2 too much nutes causing ph imbalances or lock outs.

if you have pics it would help .

give some more info about your grow.
lights
temps
medium
nute strength
anything that you think maybe of use to help you out.

usually the best cause of action is flush with 3x pot size then add 1/4 strength feed then resume normal schedule.

no offence jayme but you need to do some reading.

flushing is a basic thing.

for instance i grow in 11L pots. if i had a problem and needed to FLUSH (remove built up salts) then i would ph my water to my desired level and pour 33litres of water through my pot.

Cheers. I was looking on the forum and noticed that pottasium definciency causes yellowing of the leaves. Just wondered if i needed a pottasium boost.

what jondamon said.

I found nut deff hard to diagnose until they had advanced a bit. The more I experience my own garden, and the more pics I look at of others gardens, the better I feel I've gotten at it though. Oddly though, other than iron, I've not had a nut deff that wasn't PH based. IMO anytime you have a sign of a deficiency, your first step should be to test water and soil PH. If those are fine I would continue with your normal routine, and if it gets worse you will be able to tell more as it progresses. On the good side once you identify them they are easy to fix, just go get the required compound from your local hydro/garden store. Most micronutes are not mobile, so there is a chance that the leaves which have been effected will not recover, but they should stop getting worse, and new growth should be fine.
