Ppfd or led light confusing as hell.

Sorry, I'm confused as all hell. I have a 10'x5' maylar lined tent and I can't seem to figure out the optimal amount of leds to put in the tent.

I'm using 3gal pots and putting roughly 35-40 plants in at a time.

I have 1200w bestva leds and currently have 8 in there.
They are full spectrum 380-780nm
Replace 800w hid
Led angle of 120degrees
Power draw of 240w

I can't figure out the par or ppfd to figure out if I have enough light coverage. I have maybe 4 more lights I can throw in the tent if I need to but just want to know if it's overkill. Any help you can give would be amazing. Thank you.

Why does the LED maker refer to the light as 1200 watts? They admit some where it is only 240 watts. Why the obfuscation? A manufacturer of a good quality LED light will publish ppfd information about their products, and they won't mislead you by lying to you with the name of their fixture.

That said, you have 50 Sq. Ft. of space to light. Eight 240 watt lights is 1,920 watts, or about 38 watts per sq. ft. For cheap LEDs, you probably should aim for 50 watts per square. ft., or 10 to 11 of the "1200 watt" lights inside the 50 sq. ft. tent.
