Pre harvest flushing rockwool

I started flushing with ph’d water three days back but it looks like I’ll have to cut in a few days.. I don’t want to wait longer as I prefer my trichlomes when they’re mostly milky and only a small percentage amber.. I water/feed my 6” cubes twice a day, will adding an extra watering make much difference and would it be ok for the roots and the plants? I’m not sure if the cubes would ever get that dry..? I still wouldn’t water during the dark cycle though..

Any advice would be most welcome :blsmoke:

I am NOT an expert in any way shape or form, but I have been reading up on this flushing debate for the last several weeks in prep for my first harvest. If this site is like others, then you're going to get roughly 40/60 response from folks who say flush and those who say its an old wives tale or it makes no difference. The arguments from the dont flush folks made more sense to me so I didnt flush.

I hear you Larry, this is my first Hydro grow and I’ve also been reading up a lot about flushing and it seems to be contentious point, both sides seem to hold merit as far as I can tell but I’m also no expert.. I’ll just carry on with my usual watering schedule and cut when they’re ready..

I dont flush. I do lower feed levels a bit the last week but not much. And only really because I'm lazy and topping off with fresh is easier than dumping rdwc under a full canopy.
