problem with first steps of growing

Hello!
I started to grow weed few days ago, I did like I saw in youtube- I put seed into water tank for one day, in next day its sank down on tanks bottom, next I moist tissue an put seed in there and this wet tissue put in dish. It took about 3 days to something come out. Sprout was bout 5mm long, so I put in soil whith I made wet with water. First two days was ok, it came out fast, but now in third day it looks like dry and is nor green anymore. Questions - Do I need to moist soil all the time? Do I need to put some light on top of it?
Where I live is cold in rooms, so I keep it near radiators, theres about 20 and higher degreses per celsius!

yes they need to be warm and moist at this point. Some light wont hurt seedling either. What kind of soil did you put them in?

soil is best what can I find in town shop. Not much what can choose, this is for vegetables, also I bought some minerals.

Warm moist good soil will grow seedlings . nutes are not going to help at all with a new young plant - they will burn it and can even kill it . A lot of success with flourescents for plants in the first 3-4 weeks especially
