Problem with seedlings?

a few of my babies are showing some sort of stress that i cannot quite figure out. leaves slightly curl up, and i get yellowing tips, and on one plant the green just seems to "fade" to a light green/yellow. They are under a Kooltube 400w HPS, in 4-5inch pots in Schultz Premium potting soil plus. I have gotten a new soil mixture i will hand mix into upon transplant. The water i use is from Big 8 Spring water, i buy it at sobeys for real cheap, as my tap water is heavily chlorinated, so i dont suspect PH should be too off. I suspect maybe the soil doesnt have good enough drainage, because i do not use nutes at all and the light is 2 feet away from the tops of my plants, so they shouldnt be burnt. Any ideas on what this is?

sorry only cam availible was from my blackberry :-\

ive looked at all the "problems" picutresa, and it seems it could be so many things, so for a first time grow its hard to perfectly tell which is which. growth appears to be stunted aswell. I just transplanted them into bigger pots with a better soil mix after taking those pics.

2 parts Schultz Premium potting soil plus (0.08-0.12-0.08)
1 part Perlite
2 parts Vermiculite (top layer of soil is only verm)

will add worm castings at another time

Good that you got them into better soil. What do you mean top layer verm?
the top cm layer of the soil is all vermiuculite..just so water doesnt "sit" on the top layer, seems to drain much faster.

its a 400watt HPS Kooltube, bout 16 inches away from the seedlings. so assume it is heat damage itd be better off to wait it out and try i guess
