The home stretch is near folks 2 more weeks!! Flushing has started...Must say I wish I had these new lights from the start as my buds are comparable to my hps run. Used my fiance's canon rebel to get some nice pics

I love what your doing..

and boy do I always sound like a grump.. but 420 watts through that little panel !!! ???

one fan / 420 watts / only so much heatsink size..... the design is great using cree, the color combination.. but 420 watts in such a small space, you have to be kidding me. We all know the fall back of LED is multiple chip / spread out spacing..

pulling that light to cover what it's meant to with 420 watts makes the unit lose mass light, coupled with that much watts in that space means the LED's are hot meaning less lumens.. I just don't understand where they were coming from.

ok, I think I've said enough. I'm not nagging on you, really the manufacture.. they should know the basic design of led's.. I do love the chips in it though, that's great there high quality, and well growing is growing. if your happy that's all that matters

I hear you on a few points, and if you read through my thread, half way through i switched to 6 sg-160 area 51 all cree panels.....my production increased within a week...the procyon is now in my hid room supplementing with just the red and blue led chips on 100% with the white leds off.

those area 51s look pretty good! nice quality.
I'm not going to lie and not afraid to promote these bad boys (as I have zero affiliation with area 51) but these are the best led lights i have personally used yet and I have used A LOT of different companies hahaha.....Anyways quick update i chopped down two bubblegum and wet weight of just nugs after using spin pro weighed in at 849 grams, so im assuming for about 3 zips dry per plant with an estimate of 20% wet weight...the last four plants have another week and have much bigger buds so ill keep the results coming in and show dry weight proof.

So dry weight on the bubblegums... is 153.8 not too bad for my first led run i suppose, about 2.75 zips per plant, and just chopped iced grapefruit and white russian and hoping for higher yields on those, than tomorrow will be the last two big bud white widows....which i also hope will be higher yields, I will report on those once dry weights come in.

UPDATE: white russian comes in at 3.21 dry oz, Iced grapefruit the champ so far with 3.64 dry oz! happy about that....so far 12.34 dry oz total with two more plants drying the two big bud x white widows (which weighed the most wet fingers crossed)

Sooo final dry weight results in, the 2 big bud x white widow came in at 7.19 dry oz for a complete total of 19.53 :) not too bad for my first run with all led. Looking forward to a complete run with just the sgs -160's ....considering the 6 units pull 930 watts with 19.5 zips its a sad .58 grams per watt...no excuses I'm happy with it , but def making sure to do better next time!!

Do you flip the reds off for pics? I saw the light pattern and recognized it, but the reds aren't on.
yes i did, but not for the pic, I kept the red off the last week of flower to try and replicate using mh in the last weeks. Not sure of it made a difference or not to be honest.
