Hey...I have a hermaphrodite plant and believe this is the start to producing feminized seeds is this correct?
Can anyone help provide a process or information on the process of producing feminized seeds?
Cheers

No no don't use hermaphrodite plants to breed the offspring will have the same tendency to herm. Colloidal silver is what you want to use to turn a female male then use that pollen to pollinate other female plants but you're going to have to scrap the one that you turned male it's no good for Edibles or smoke I found that 50 PPM colloidal silver for about 2 weeks starting from the first day of 12 12 light saturate the plant spring all of it with colloidal silver one to two times a day will generally turn a female male.

It is not. You need to turn a female into a herm, catch the pollen, and then pollenate another female. If yours was a hermie at birth, then it will not have all female DNA..
Thanks for the info.
It came from seeds that were suppose to be feminized it has only shown that its a hermie lately the plant is about 3.5 months old.

nice topic,
where do I get the colloidal silver from?

It's likely that the offspring will do the same thing unless it was due to stress light leaks

OK Thanks Jesse, it could be caused by stress its getting pretty cold here lately and I was having a few issue identifying some of the
sexes of the plants so I triggered them into flower for a week but found the timer had shit itself a couple of days later so instead of
being on a 12/12 cycle they went from 18/6 to 24 lights on for 2 days before I realize the timer had crapped out. I then eased them back to
a 18/6 cycle for a week then triggered 12/12. The plant in question came from a batch of feminized seeds and was looking like a female
but then it started to produce some male looking flowers but just singles then it started producing female pistils.

likely that it came from the stress but you still probably should not use that pollen you can and you might get some decent plants out of it but you're going to have to make sure that The Offspring do not hermaphrodite. You should check the other post that somebody wrote on there I have never used that product but it's in all the High Times Magazine's so I'm sure it's a good product sometimes finding the proper PPM of colloidal silver can be difficult I had a friend of mine make me some and it didn't work but I had some that another grower gave me that work great. My last batch of seeds I made from a male plant. called the black I'm growing out some of the babies now. But they are regular seeds not feminized. I pollinated three whole plants with a male black. So my crosses are male black and orange bud, the black and chronic and The black and nine pound hammer. I planned on making feminized seeds, But the colloidal silver that my friend made me didn't work and another friend of mine had the male black so I took that and pollinated those three plants we'll see what we get I got one plant that I got out of bed seed. That I really like a lot so I'm borrowing some pollen from a friend to pollinate it. Because I have no idea what it is but I like it a lot I enjoy experimenting it's part of the fun. Grow on

Cheers Bud! I thought it may be the stress as I had 7 feminized seeds that a friend gave me but don't know the genetics, the other 6 seeds have all turned
out to be females, I had 5 bag seeds which 3 turned to males and 2 where a Ruderalis(Crap) variety. I culled the males and the Ruderalis so i will have to
see if I can find a male to use to pollinate.I have cloned the good plants first attempt was not very good but watch another video on cloning and it worked
well, so have a heap of females coming on but no boy!

Nice where did you get ruderallis at?

They came with the some bag seed.....to start with I was quite excited because it showed female signs from about 3 weeks of the seed popping.
But it was producing 3 prong leaves and didn't grow as tall as the other plants so i did a little research and found out what they were.

Ruderalis is how they make auto plants

best way to get stable feminized offspring is light stress a solid female. if it herms naturally under minimal stress, not good stock.

alot of colloidal silver offspring will herm if you dont run a tight ship.

take a solid female and light stress it for weeks. get it to herm.

Do you think if I use colloidal silver or trealass like KY suggested that I could turn some of the female clones into males then use that pollen?
For sure you can trealass is probably easiest to find its probably just a name brand with one extra thing but mostly collidal silver but they are making it for cannabis so you know the ppm will be right. I would go with that
