Progress so far with the Cannabis Beds.

Should have started a grow journal, but when I found this sight, I was well into the grow, so I have tried to keep things updated for those interested?

The first 28 days of Veg was with T12 flo's and I switched them to a 1000 watt HID seven days ago today.

So they are now at 35 days into Veg in total.

Since adding the 1000 watt HID a week ago" that has no problem lighting up my room like a roman candle, " these girls have put allot of concentration into their side foliage.

I have to agree guys and gals " hard to beat the output of these big lights for those who can get them and use them, there is really no substitute, even though we may try to convince ourselves that there might be, LOL. "

I love the beds that I have used so far.

Each tote is 48x18x12 and the plants at this phase do not seem to mind.

Of course doing this method, you can forget ever transplanting as the roots of the girls just spread all over the place and I do keep the sides of the clear totes covered so the lights will not damage the roots, but it is great to remove the covers every few days and see how intense the root systems on these girls are and how they have pretty much spread to the entirety of the totes.

So far so good and my soil is so rich with Organics at this point, I probably will not do anything but add some Guano for Phos during Flowering and the rest plain water.

No complaints from these girls as of now, but we are still early in the game.

Love of course, is my number one ingrediant.

Next grow will be in a journal and I plan on doing one plant per each of these huge totes and I will use a second 1000 watt light and I hope to show that three trees grown in huge containers can actually compete with the amount given in an outside grow and I am shooting for at least better than two pounds, but that is later.

I cannot wait to try the smoke that will come off of these girls, but I am giving them all of the time they need as patience is a virtue.

The tote in the left of the picture has 8 really good quality mids in it, the middle tote has five feminized Carnival and the tote on the right has 10 mids.

The soil is Organic and mixed with worm castings and I have live worms in them that are fed vegetable and fruit scraps and they are getting natural fertilizers that I put together here at the house.

I took a couple of clones today from the Carnival Strain and I am trying something different to get them to root.

Will let you guys know how it goes and if the clones indeed take well to the experiment?

Oh and I also used the myco-fungi in the soil for these chicks.

I did not use it from the beginning, but added it about 13 days ago and the roots really went nuts within a few days.

Will definately continue to use the myco-fungi with my grows and from now on start the fungi with the MJ from seed.
