Project Aeroponics

Hello water lovers! Incase you haven't seen my grow journals on my signature, I've been using soil as a start(I'm a noob). But I've been doing a lot of research on Aeroponics and have decided to start a project.

I've have found this pdf document titled "How to Setup an State-of-the-Art Aeroponics System". So I've decided to read it and come up with my own list of items needed to build this system.

This is what I have so far:
All T-fittings and Elbows
4ftx4ftx100in PVC fence post w/caps
1/2" tubing
3/4" tubing
285gph water pump
Clear hoses
7 Gallon Resivior

Still need:
Micro spray nosels
Hydroton balls
3' net pots
Air stone

I've have pics of the project as well as my plans up soon. Please let me know if I need to add anything to improve this system.

I'm in the process of germinating AK47, Durban Posion, and some Bagseeds. Journals will also be created with those.

I have attached picture of my aeroponics setup. My original intent was to use 4" PVC fence posts, I've tried but the caps just kept on leaking. So I've trashed the idea and used 4" PVCs poles instead. Its now put together.

Question to everyone...The PPM has gone way above 1100 for my vegetive plants (1600-1700). I've initally put in the water and nutes and measured at ~750 PPM. Now after adding pH down it jumped to ~1600. What gives? I'm used pH down my General Hydoponics (Dry solution).

Also once I've brought the pH down to ~ 5.8, the next day it'll jump to around ~6.3. What does everyone use to get a steady reading of pH in their water?
