If they only bitched so much over booze stores. Funny how they never complain about the cost municipalities incur for all the costs associated with alcohol. The LCBO made $5B in sales in 2016 with a profit of over $2B...how much of that pie did they share with the municipalities?

The cost of alcohol related enforcement to taxpayer's (nationally) was around $20B in 2012. Cannabis, when it was illegal, cost under $500 million. Most of that, 90+% was for possession and personal cultivation - both will be legal.

And they still couldn't keep it out of the hands of the children, or prevent drunk driving, or the health related issues.... ffs.....
