Pruning Question

Hey Rollitup Forums! Got another question for you guys about my first grow here :) I topped this for the first time about 34 days ago and it developed 2 new tops which I topped for a second time 11 days ago..I am a little concerned because the 4 little growths (2 on each side of the branches) have not grown in size since I cut the 2 tops off.

I know plants go through shock and may stop all growth for a couple days after cuttting it in any way but the plant has shown other growth and the little nodes between the other lower branches have significantly taken off as shown in this pic:

The 2 snipped branches/tops can be seen here but you can't rly see the riny green growth which is on both sides of each branch:

Do you guys think it would be smart to cut off the two fan leaves at the top if the plant doesnt show any growth in the next couple of weeks so the lower nodes circled in the pic can grow bigger? Any help would be appreciated on this matter. Thanks! =)

I'm no outdoor grower ( wish I could try ) but to me that plant doesnt have a lot of growth on it to begin with. The need the leaves for energy. I wouldnt cut anything from that plant. It sure doesnt have an over-abundance of growth now.

Why did you snip those branches? Go ahead and put your plant stake close to your plant stem and tie it with some panty hose or something that will stretch as the plant grows. Get rid of the wire! The only thing going good for that plant at the moment is those 2 branches you have circled in the 1st photo. Where you cut it...thats all going to do nothing Thats the main stem you cut into, now its focusing the new mains, those 2 branches...its outside, just leave it be for now and hope for the best.

Man, that thing doesn't look very healthy at all for outdoor. You should have topped that thing way earlier than you did. Watch the vid ( and others ) about topping.

Thanks for the replies guys :) I don't have too much invested in this one plant so I'm just gonna be patient with it and let it grow as much as it can...
