Here is the Tarp Gerp I was talking about. I have never used this product but the reviews are A++++ and you can find some nice bud shots that were grown using the product... All of the rest of their products such as Sea Green, True Blooms and Rootementary were solid as hell and extremely concentrated.

I am using Open Sesame in replace of the bud ignitor... I have used This is conjunction with AN for a while now and it seems to work perfectly.

I looked into the Bud Blood as well, looks like a solid product
If you use it, use it only at third strength, you can not use it with AN pH perfect nutes though. I went round and round with those cock suckers at AN over fucking up the formula.
It is the best product AN makes though.
I get much better results in the final product if I do not push the plants to hard and keep it simple.
If you push the plant to hard you will get a little bigger buds, but the nutes store in the buds and come out in the final taste and burn of the bud.
I prefer something like sucanat or carb load to molasses.
I have found if you get to much molasses accumulated in the growing medium it has a tendency to drive the pH way down.
I found it out while over pouring it into a tank to mix and spilled it over the measuring cup a little to much.
I didn't think any thing of it, it's just a little extra that went in right? Screwed up every plant I had.

This looks pretty much like a magnesium PK booster, mostly organic so the plant can up take easier, added silica for cell structure and dicotimus earth and volcanic dust, this would be nice as bug repellents and added sulfur ,

I have always used mollases at every watering but very small amounts at a time. I don't even measure it, I just pour a little in the gallon jug and mix it real well till it dissolves. Basically just tip the bottle over till a little comes out and then back up.

I have been wanting to change to a different product. I think I will pull the trigger on Earth Juices High-Brix mix. It looks very good and cheap too. I do have some Earth Juice Catalyst that I will probably start using instead of the molasses until I get the high brix. Do you know much about the Catalyst? It seemed to work great in my outdoor grow last year and it contains molasses.

I know a lot of growers who use molasses religiously , I am like a dog, if I get kicked once I do not normally hang around to get it again. Molasses is good if you just use a little bit. Just trying to feed the Bennie's a little and keep them active and alive.
I do not know anything about earth juice products. It's gotten so much anymore I just throw a carb /sugar at them and it doesn't matter what brand , same with food in the right ratios.
A lot of the big growers out west on outdoor use grow more , advertised on high times and they get some outstanding yields and product, everything is in a powder to include molasses. And it's cheap, they have a good terps product to.
Indoor most growers use Lucas that grow commercially . Not everyone but most of the large indoor growers do.
Most use gravitas but not everyone, some guys like the ceramics. The best productions and coverage I have ever seen come out of gavitas.
There is always someone who will say, that's not so I know such and such, yeah, but it's the exeception to the rule and not the rule.

Speaking of Grow More... I raise my cup to that one. I use the hell out of Grow More fertilizers outdoors. You can get huge, big bags for cheap and its some outstanding stuff. Very good line and a huge selection at that. You cannot find a better product "chem based" imo for outdoor use.

You know I really like the Hortilux bulbs indoor. They have more blue spectrum in them compared to most all other HPS bulbs. But I have thought hard about switching to CMH next run... They seem to give better trich production than HPS do, well from photos I have seen anyway.

But then again, this could be due to the HPS lights throwing the colors off... Almost all bud looks the same in a photo taken in a room with HPS lighting lol.

But then again, I have always used HPS and always end up with plenty of frosty triched out bud.

Looking good PDB! Instead of buying new gear, couldnt you just change the Kelvins of the bulb you run in your HPS or run MH (5000K) for the first cpl weeks til stretch is done then switch over to 2700K for the remainder of flower if your ballasts are digital or switchable.

Intensity of light is where it is at.
Every bulb as far as HPS or mh start loosing lumens as soon as you plug it in. No matter what the quality of the bulb or spectrum of the bulb, it still requires intensity to develop large hard buds.
It is better in my experience to use cheap bulbs and change them every time you run. Intensity Trump's spectrum.

Thank you Red ;)

Yes I suppose I could... Instead of jumping into such an investment right off the bat, I believe I will try this first. That had crossed my mind.

The only real issue I've had, which is a very minor one, is my temps have been a hair higher than I would like the past couple of days. But there is just a warm from coming through and it is supposed to cool back down tomorrow. So when the outside night time temps, for example last night were 71 outside, it was 81 degrees in the grow room. I dimmed the first light from 1000 watts to 800 and it dropped the temps to 79.0. So nothing too major, cooling back down tonight and for the next week.

I don't have the money to invest right this second, to get a good air cooling system. I am definitely getting a mini split system this spring though, right after harvest.

But for now, I thought about putting in a window AC unit I bought last year for my veg room and it works perfectly in the veg room even when I was running 1000 watts. I mean I know its not the best most economical choice, but if it will work to bring down the temps on warm days just a few degrees then im all for it. Could put it in the wall and pull air from my lung room, like I said (only on warm days).

I am now 9 days (week 2) of flower.

I walked out when I woke up this morning to check on the girls, a minute too late. The lights just had went out.

But I managed to get some photos without that pain in the ads orange colored distortion from the HPS lighting.

Here they are, I honestly didn't know how healthy they really looked till I snapped these photos. Sorry for the low quality, I have been stuck on this cheapo phone for a while now, getting mother board replaced in my S8... Went out on me a couple months ago.

And I never said anything about it, but my GPS seedlings got caught up in a little flooding accident a while back and got severely over watered... Not my fault, it was a natural cause. Long story lol... However, I did not think that they would recover. I was wrong! Here they are greening back up in the veg room.

Here are some mother plants, towering above the GPS youngin's...

Here is the garden, at 1am this morning... Stretch is in full force.

I foiliar fed Advanced Nutrients Nirvana a few days ago and hit them with a foiliar of true blooms this morning. Both of these contain natural PGR's which in turn will help reduce stretch. I take it easy on the True Blooms though, as it is incredibly concentrated. I use half of what's recommended, so 1ml on that.

Flower sites are stacking and I dont see them ever stretching to the lights, so maybe this will turn out manageable in the long run.

And here, I love this pic... I decided to lay down in the back end of the jungle and burn a fat hog leg... Ran out of pain meds, 4 days early this month... :( The withdrawal has been miserable... But something so soothing about laying beneath the canopy and smoking that joint. When these potent flowers are finished, I plan to use my own medicine to get away from the opioids... Shit is straight poison... I tell ya!

Nice Thumper... Looking good. Its just around the corner yet its an eternity when your waiting on it and expecting it. The couple days in a row when I get super busy and don't visit the room much is when I see the big changes... Time goes by much faster when your not always in the grow room... But yet, how could someone abandon such beautiful gals, ya know?

So what strains you got running there? How many watts, how many plants?

Well folks, I believe it is time...

I want some big ole trees this year, like I used to grow back in the day. I guess its about time for some seed soaking. There is a good rain coming down outside tonight, think I'm gonna soak them in rain water... Give them the first taste of their natural environment they will be thriving in.

I believe I will start off with some local bred Ky Roadkill Skunk seeds, a long with a few of the Nature Farm Skunk #18 seeds (been wanting to compare these two since word is that the Ky roadkill that was brought in back in the 70's was also Uncle Festers line). Also gonna pop a few of the Hindu Kush x Skunk #18.

This is gonna be interesting. ;)
