Yea it really depends on if your county has a task force or not. I have friends who work at the power company and have a friend who is a LEO "doesn't know I grow or smoke".

Where I live now there isn't a budget for a task force in my county and I hope to never relive them days.

I know the pain buddy... I hate being on edge all of the time. No my county does not have a task force specifically but this area of my state does have the KSP cannabis suppression branch and the HIDTA task forces. They have died back a lot with the cannabis eradication though in the last couple of years...

Same here man. I have family that are cops and in-laws as well. Here in my town. Some of them do know I grow but it's the least of their worries. They are more after the methamphetamine and opioid epidemic than anything.

I agree with that 100% Red. Never does marijuana pose a danger. The only danger in marijuana is the distribute from Mexican brick weed and the pressed bud that comes in through cartel and gangs.

I do not buy brick anymore because I do not want to support the cartel.

Well its been a minute for a good update on this thread. Girls are getting transplanted to their final 5 gallon containers tonight!

The seeds I just germinated the other day have been dropped in promix in nursery trays and placed beneath the light with the rest of the girls.

Well folks, did not get anything at all done last night like I had planned to do.

I got laid down letting my supper settle and BOOM....... I was out. Lol.

Getting woke up this morning and I am going to start on it first thing. I hope the seedling trays have not dried out too much with the combo of light, low humidity and a fan.

But I will get photos of progress for sure and i'm hoping my GPS packages show up today as well!

In the process of mixing the medium right now...

I have a whole bale of promix right there in that 55 gallon barrell and I have added 1 tbsp of dolimite lime per gallon and poured 4 gallons of advanced nutrients/water feed into the medium and mixed with the drill and auger... Took an hour and a half for that. I have 28 5 gallon pots to be filled.

Boy this is gonna be fun... At least putting 3 and a half gallons of soil in each grow bag cause the medium they are in currently is 1 to 2 gallon bags.

Well my 55 gallon barrell mix "almost" got half of the girls transplanted into their new homes. Looks like i'm gonna be mixing up at least another bale and quarter of promix, perlite and dolimite lime later this afternoon.

In the last two photos you can see the newborns, chilling with the clone only "superstars"... Hmm, well, as I would call them my pornstars! Just wait till they start showing it all off... You will see what I mean when they drop their panties!



Had to throw in my new shelf I put together last night a d how handy it is for 19 bucks... Also that recharge stuff is AMAZING! Everyone should use it.

They are looking better day by day and when I transplanted they had solid mass of snow white healthy roots in the bottom.

Well let's add 4 Full Moon Fever and 4 Purple Outlaws to that list...

I get so indecisive when it comes to popping seeds lol. I swear I am going to stop now.

The GPS gear that I germed a couple of days ago and the ones I germed today, along with BBCC and Pineapple Chunk will likely only be vegged for 2 to 3 weeks max and thrown in while the clones are in their first or second week of flower.

I will take cuts of all the GPS gear in case I run across some keepers, which I am almost positive I will.

Next run I am doing half my grow with cuts and the other half with GPS gear only... Dammit I am already wishing to expand my grow space lol...

Howdy folks!

Up and kicking early this morning and bout to head underground to get back to work and hopefully finish my transplants. I will update on things once I get finished with it all.

I am just wondering if they're is any new noticeable growth spurts since the first transplant yesterday. I made sure the medium I transplanted the girls into was cozy and warm by placing the bags of pre mixed soil in front of the heater. I just don't get any transplant shock hardly ever, unless I over water them in.

Which this time, I moistened the soil thoroughly and evenly before filling the pots with a solution of half strength Advanced Nutrients. I think it was 4 and a half gallons of water/nutes to 55 gallons of soil and mixed up really nicely and moist.

I believe they will love that mix myself. I wanted to add a little Kelp (seaweed juice) to the mix but I was afraid that it might throw the pH of the AN mix off a bit, if I remember correctly your not supposed to mix foreign nutrients or additives the the AN line (although this could be part of AN greedy marketing system to keep you from purchasing other brands of nutrients/additives). But I'm not sure, maybe just a little sea weed juice won't hurt. Could be something I could mix up and test myself if I could ever get rid of this darned ol' lazy bug I have had lately... Lol.

Just checked on the beans I put into the cups to soak at 8:30am yesterday morning, to see how they are coming a long.

Out of all 8 seeds combined, only one has cracked open thus far. In the same amount of time during my last pre-soak, by now all my seeds had nearly cracked. I contribute this to not using distilled water this time around.

I have in the past year been using distilled as I have much much faster and better germination rates compared to RO, spring, bottled, purified, etc etc... And don't ask me why distilled is a better option because I have no clue but I promise it is...

But we got a big snow on right now and I couldn't make it to the store to grab any distilled yesterday. Yeah I know... I could have easily boiled my own water lol, but again, this lazy bug has taken hold of me lately... It has to go on somewhere soon. Lol.

I will give the beans until this afternoon to do they're thing, then they have to go on into the promix. As it is never a good idea to over soak the seeds. I moved them a bit closer to the heat source so maybe that will help kick them into gear a bit quicker, but I will update on that later as well...

For now, time to grab my muck boots, coveralls and flashlight and proceed to the laboratory!

I wanted to update earlier but did not get a chance.

I checked the beans around 7:30 tonight and to my surprise everyone of them had cracked and germed! Hell Yeah! That is some stability and viability right there! Way to go Green Point!

All 8 cracked in less than 24 hours... That is what I like to see!

I ended up getting 21 clones transplanted from the one gallon to the 5 gallon bags early this morning. They seem to not like those smaller containers and the root mass on bottom of the grow bags during transplant was thick, white and solid.

I believe they will love all of this new room they have now. I used AN a&b, b52, voodoo juice, a half dose of cal-mag and a dose of recharge during the transplant. So they have plenty of beneficial microbials, b vitamins, mychorizza, calcium and magnesium, humics, fulvics, carbs and aminos.

Those roots should go insane one they get settled in.

There were a few clones left over that I did not transplant and those few are the ones that appeared to be weaker and was still having issues. Those I will likely just move on to the veg room once I get it back up and going and work them back to a better health and they will become mothers.

Here is a photo of right after I transplanted them this morning. I expect to see some big changes in the very near few days of future!

They still seem like they are needing more nitrogen so I upped their base nutrients up to almost the full dose. Hopefully they will thank me for it.

I'm back with a little bit of a worry tonight. I was spending some time with the girls tonight and as I sit and watched them thrive I started wondering why they have not really been growing to their full potential yet. I mean these clones I have had rooted since around November 15th, and although I kept them in small solo cups until my new grow room was built I have had these vegging now for like almost a month and the growth has been so slow. My environment is perfect, my feeding schedule perfect, my medium is warm, they are not getting over or under watered and they are recieving plenty of light.

I got to noticing how some of the plants leaves are turned up on the edges and how they look so weak and are not really bushing out like they should. When I transplanted them the roots were fucking insanely nice and white and was hairy as hell. So the problem, whatever it is lies above the root zone.

I have narrowed it down to two possibilities. One, my humidity stays very low. Even when I'm not running my dehumidifier which I haven't even ran in a couple of weeks. Humidity stays around 30 to 40 % which I know it too low for veg, but still they should not be growing this slow and expressing so much discoloration here and there for no reason.

I am going to increase my humidity to see if that helps..

My second guess is the most dreaded fucking thing I can possibly think of which in all honesty may be a good possibility... The infamous nasty crop killing "Broad Mite" or "Russet Mite"...

I do kind of have symptoms of broad mites. I am fixing to start my adventure and journey of searching for my 60-100x scope which I have no clue where it is and begin the search for the little bastards. If I happen to spot any to I am heading to hardware store today as soon as they open and buying me at least 5 No Pest strips.

I read that they take care of them quiet well and that will save me at least anywhere from $100 to $1000 depending on how bad the issue escalates IF I do have them. The problem with broads is that they get down inside the plants and lay eggs as well, not just on the leaves and stems... The Dichlorvos gas will penetrate inside of the plants and kill all of them if they are present.

The no pest strips done wonders a month or less ago when I had found some spider mites on a few of the plants, they were all completely dead by the next day with just one strip.

But hopefully... And that is a HUGE hopefully, it is a humidity issue instead of broad mites. Lets keep our fingers crossed. I will update after the inspection IF I even find my damn scope.

Well I got lucky... Found my microscope in less than 5 minutes and also this bottle of "Organocide 3-in-1 Garden Spray" I had purchased from Wal-Mart back during the fall lawn and garden clearance sale. This is the first time I have ever seen this product at wally world or even heard of it period. I figured it was been based but its not. I remember when I first seen it I bought like 4 bottles of it because it makes up to 30 gallons of spray and I reckon it's really gold for mites as well.

I got them less than half price. Has anyone ever heard of this stuff before? Main reason I bought it is because a lot of this "mite wash" that is cannabis specific is super fucking expensive and only makes a few gallons per bottles and they throw those fancy labels on there bottles and weaken it nearly to water and charge out the ass for it.

So I figured I got a deal here.

Active Ingredients are: Sesame oil 5.00%

Other ingredients are: Lecithin, Edible Fish Oil, Potassium Sorbate and Water 95.00%

Wonder if this stuff is any count.

And since I found my scope I am fixing to head down under and start the investigation... Worried as he'll too, last thing I wanna worry with us a dann mite problem ESPECIALLY Broads or Russet. But I guess I would rather know than not know so at least I'd know why the hell my plants are exhibiting such slow growth. I have 16 years under my belt. I definitely know what I am doing and I am not making ANY grower mistakes whatsoever. I forgot to say earlier, pH has been fine and dandy as well.

Alright, back from the room.

I checked about half of the plants and never seen the first sign of any mites. I did see tons of trichs especially on the Corey stardawg and GG4 but no eggs or broads.. Thank God!

The GG4 had tons of trichs on it, not seen many like that. She has not even started flowering yet and the new growth is covered in trichomes... It is gonna be fire for sure!

I would not completely rule this out as exempt just yet, but I am 95% positive there are no mites.

I did put a 5 gallon bucket in front of the fan with a soaked towel wicking water out and my humidity increased from 40% to 55% so that really helped out a lot. I will probably invest in a humidifier eventually but for now I am so close to flower I believe I will be fine using the DIY method for now.

Another problem I believe that is setting growth back is fear. Fear of over watering. I had a slight problem back in the day with over watering from time to time. I believe that I am watering far less than needed, and in turn it is leaving lots of dry spots in the soil. So I went ahead and watered the girls with a half gallon of water each, around the edges of the 5 gallon grow bags and we will see how they respond. I had been giving way too little, I do believe.

I added tons of perlite into the promix so I believe it will be alright. However a half gallon did not result in any run off, once they are ready for their next feeding I will make sure and water till I get about 15% to 20% runoff... For now Ibwant the roots to grow out to the edges before I attempt to give that much water.

Loading up the 6 gal containers this morning and slid over the hill with the wheelbarrow and busted my ass pretty good lol. Me and the whole 24 gallons of water. Damn snow!!!
