I see, thought you said it was a 1000W panel, as at was putting out way too many lumens for the power draw compared to even the good Samsung H stuff.

where do you get your nutes?
awesome job man!
Thank you so much Choo-Train!! Hard work pays off sometimes ya know!
Got nutes from a supply store here like a nursery. They have bonsai food that is way better but I will get it next time or when I switch to flower much lower N content which you want NONE of during flower offcourse.

So one of my mates had vegged too many plants for his grow and had this extra Atomic Annesia just laying around. She is 4 weeks old and but bigger than the rest but fits perfectly in the corner of my room. Took her original medium and pot rinsed the roots and replanted into Palm Peat and Verm half/half. Watered her down with 750ml of seedling nutes 2.5g/3liters. LST'd her four loose nodes and brought stem more horizontal towards larger pot and central light. (Remember going to ScrOG these babies.) she is looking good so far but need some attention she has been neglected. IMG_6790.JPG

Morning everyone.:bigjoint:

Been working on my box this morning! Removed all the LST pins and removed lowest nodes foliage before I filled more medium into tubpot. Then a quick few strings into those hooks to initiate ScrOG. IMG_6794.JPG

IMG_6795.JPG Sad news however is that last night after smashing a billy a pillow fell off my couch and knocked her over- no one likes a broken bongsmiliebong :spew:literally felt sick to my stomach. Like I lost a sibling maybe even worse. I know I'm not alone on this one. o_O

Besides that the new adopted AA 2.0 is looking very healthy today already and colour has come back also. :weed:IMG_6797.JPGThink about twining these four nodes around the tub pot, two, two, on each side. Or topping her on each node once more any suggestions? She is a full two weeks older than the youngest so need to stall her upward growth tremendously while not making her too bushy either...?:eyesmoke:

Evening everyone been quiet for a bit...

Have done a complete watering since we talked with nutes 2.5g/3ł mixture. Used 3ł total for watering tub pot. Didn't even get any run through... this palm peat is very absorbent. And this pot is maybe a bit larger than I assumed. I need to do the calculation on Pie and that stuff the diameter is 47cm and it's roughly 15cm filled with soil. Did the math the Volmetric area of this Tubpot is 23.5cm in radius and works out to 9.95ł (if the soil was water) so a 3 ł feeding every 6-7 days is not as bad as I thought.

I have used some HST and LST techniques to keep AA 2.0 the new adopted in a shape that stays underneath the ScrOG until I am ready to flip to 12/12. Unfortunately while supercropping the four separate nodes I have selected, I slipped and pinched off the last node the top right one :cry: idiot! Well to fix the issue a few days later I Topped he remaining top node so that I could split them in two going towards the Left around the pot. IMG_6811.JPGThere is the last image of the four nodes until my slip up. IMG_6855.JPG
This is Saturday looking plush again.
IMG_6892.JPG
You can see in the blurred background the leftover destruction of the missing node:wall: , however this morning she seems to be responding on her other side at the topping site!

IMG_6893.JPG Waiting for the Supercrop stress to settle two days after I topped and the new growth is already booming out. Other than being shoved in the corner and propped in new soil after a complete root wash I'd say she has settled in very nicely.

FIMMed AA 3.0 on May 1st
IMG_6509.JPG
This morning she is looking out happy 1 week later.
IMG_6901.JPG 4 new top node sites and a SC two days later shows the nodes activating growth double time!!

The other ladies got a HST SuperCrop on all superior nodes of PC #1 ( done prior to others approx 2days) SLH #1 + #2, PC #2 + #3 and PC #1 lower nodes. Also did 5x SCs on AA2.0 in Tubpot her nodes finally caught up with the overkill I did in foliage removal but managed to tame her until the youngens caught up :blsmoke:

IMG_6858.JPG AA 3.0 can see three maybe four SCs in the photo there is 5. :oIMG_6904.JPGThis is SLH #1 I pinched her a bit hard also and looked lined for two days but leaves are still looking healthy so guess she will pull through. Look at the trichomes all over her baby little fan leaves. :weed: If you look closely in the blur also isn't a kinked top node stem. She will make it!

Also FIMMed WW and MK on Friday morning they is showing some new growth on new top sites, needs somebody more time. Other than that my canopy is raising and getting bushy already. Had to ad a polystyrene reflector underneath baby LA because she is three days younger than the youngest MK and WW.
IMG_6907.JPG Will see if she stretches some
Now getting some underneath penetration and additional reflection.

IMG_6897.JPG Canopy almost in line with ScrOG so can't wait to start playing around with them LST!:eyesmoke:

Very healthy for sure!

Have been doing some reading lately and found this interesting article take a look at it ... it's about using a 730nm dark red led strip for 5-10minutes after it gets dark to induce flower earlier in your season so that you don't be have to do flower into the cold months rather hotter sunnier months. Also makes the plants fall into photosynthetic sleep and thinks that the winter is coming on quicker and that nights are 2 hours longer than they really are. Tell me if anyone has ever tried this. May be worth an experiment?

http://www.weedwatch.com/forums/grow-light-source/2643-flower-initiator.html

Read it and tell me about your thoughts people!! New technique, new revolutionary knowledge of cannabis due to tertiary research.

Back to me haha this was one of my first images on the 23rd April:IMG_6288.JPGIMG_6895.JPG
And then this morning the 8th of May. Think for 2 weeks under this 1000W LED is definitively working! Can't wait to have more time pass to see what happens next!

I'm going to be ordering some 660nm/730nm/840nm custom cobs to test exactly that ;) Just some cheapies from china, $22 (R330 landed I guess) for a 14-19W cob.

Plants are looking great man! Can't believe how fast they grow

How many of these cobs per wavelength are you getting? You want the total wattage to add up decently high. How many plants you looking at Don?

Thank you ! I know they are working hard those ladies. Can't wait till they reach the ScrOG! Then I'll be having fun.

As I understand it, high wattage isn't necessary for Emerson + initiator effects. I'll be adding only 2 of them to my setup as the far red initiator by Growmau5 is said to be enough for 1m², and has only 4x Cree XP-E far reds. I'm fairly certain 30W (18W 660nm, 9W 730nm and 3w 840nm) will be effective in however small a space I will be growing :) In the future, I will try some more powerful leds, but for now I think this may help get the results I want.

Bro no time gonna lie but looks like you have a bit more knowledge under your belt in the build of a led and maybe I can learn something for sure from you. The red imersion immulator is said to be super effective-its meant to mimic that red dusk time color before the sun sets.

I'm learning like everyone else, I'm just a major nerd and have a thing for electronics and lighting as I work in a similar field. In terms of growing, I know very little compared to you ;)

Well thank you for the confidence boost man! :bigjoint: I also have a kindness for lights but never attempted a build myself as the tools are a little expensive for a start up solderer. Enjoy the evening and good luck with the build!!

I'm actually doing all this in preparation for what the MCC has planned, so if all goes well, I'll be putting a few more lights together. If you end up wanting in the future, let me know and I'll hook you up :)

Until the next instalment!

Yessir take pictures for me of the build and specs etc would love to share that info with my fellow tokers. The difference between us activists and the rest of the world is that we are willing to share secrets because we know we could benefits out of each other's hidden talents. Like they say a Win, Win situation haha :bigjoint:

I am excited about our friendship Donny D!!:eyesmoke:

Sorry been so quiet lately people been getting to work building secondary ScrOG Net ( will remove initial one in two or so weeks from today. ) Have been weaving these ladies gently every time they popped to the top of the net. Have been feeding a constant 1-2g/2ł of water . Ladies have also been getting a weekly supercropping where they seemed to be getting lanky and outrageous. IMG_7138.JPGHere you can see the POWER this light actually has this being 5/21 - 1 month since lights ON! On 20/4 veg cycle.

Additionally I have been playing around with Atomic Amnesia 2.0 in a DWC hybrid unit. I found a 3w water pump from a tiny water fountain. I'm using it to run an infinity waterfall over a polystyrene block and along the top of the slanted side of the pot running under and right by the drainage holes of the pot. Since she went under on the 12th she has responded so well to her new way of nourishment. IMG_7122.JPG

IMG_7141.JPG

If you remember or have been readin along. This lady unfortunately pulled one of her top main nodes off and had to sacrifice her and top the remaining main node to split again as to grow and weave her along the curve of the tub pot.

I will also introduce you to the newest lady in the Purple land! Another baby LA Confidential. IMG_7164.JPGShe has been under lights for 5 days now and already catching up to her outdoor (winter grow) relatives. IMG_7090.JPGThose were just old LA seeds that I "thought" had rotten due to such a long germ time in wet paper smelly towel. Chucked then in garden pot -Trash and a week later I see these little robust winter ❄ growing ladies.

IMG_7159.JPG
This White Wodow lady is super strong! You can see her robustness by how many trichomes she has in only the third week from seed now. Other than that they have been loving the constant temp between 25-28 degrees Celsius and rapidly approaching their new ScrOG height.
IMG_7151.JPG

IMG_7165.JPG
Overall very happy in their home.
Tightly wound internodal spaces with new growth in internodes. IMG_7161.JPG
Let me know what you think so far:bigjoint:

Quick update

Removed lower ScrOG net and three males. Lollipoped them three nodes down and LST them outward in the Tubpot.
IMG_7339.JPG Before lollipop

IMG_7351.JPG After lollipop and LST

Cleaned area up and shifted pots around a week ago they are doing very well now.
IMG_7455.JPG The smaller LA Confidential is growing on top of the black upside down drip tray.

AA in the Hydro pot DWC experiment is doing sooooo well. The new node growth on this ONLY 3 stem lady is intense.
IMG_7451.JPG
IMG_7503.JPG
IMG_7524.JPG Talk about tight intermodal spacing !!
