Purple Haze?

I got some from a friend one time and it was real good. Really strong. I planted the seeds and I now have (3) 4 ft plants of that kind. I brought my girls in from outside last week.First frost is near. I just checked on them and discovered there is a purple color on the buds! I think the strain is Indica. What kind do you think it is? Maybe purple haze? Are there many varities with purple in the bud?

Haze is by definition a SATIVA not an indica so if it looks like a wide leafed indica plant it's not haze.

If it is a haze it should be extremely fast growing, and it will take 12-20 weeks to flower. No commercial grower is going to invest that kind of time on a relatively low yielding plant. So I'd say the odds are very low that you really have a haze.

There are LOTS of varieties that naturally turn purple. Many others will do it if exposed to cold temps.

And as warlord already mentioned, a pure haze will not look indica whatsoever.
