Purple stems : are they cold ?

Hi all

Im growing 1 lib haze and a seedsman cheese.

Temps have dropped a bit during the day because of the time of year and nights are getting quite cold.
Im growing in biobizz all mix using grow/bloom 1 treatment of epsom salts, but finding my cheese has purple stripes on her stems and the growth is purple leafs are like they came off a purple strain, smallish spears but seems to be plodding along slowly.
Temps in the day are sitting at around 26°c and night must be falling to 20 if not lower, so i have put a heater in the room to keep them warm, if cold will it go green again after a few days ?

Shouldnt be a nute problem, ph is ok

Without pics I can only speculate that it is the temps causing your purple stems.

Keeping her small with lst. put a heater with a timer in the room to help with temps. First time growing photoperiod plants... but seems like every seedsman seed i have ever brought has let me down.

Probably just a bit chilly, my biggest plant in flower right now has some purple stems and leaves. I'm not sure if it's genetic or what but it's the only one of mine that has purple and it's doing great, main buds are fatter than a bottle of GH ph up/down. Hoping she finishes with soda can size buds

Thanks, best of luck to you hope they come out like beasts, just having a fuck it grow until i upgrade my equipment... gotta fill up the stash while i wait

Cool looking plant

I almost always get purple stems.
Some genetic.
Some temperature.
Some I have no idea why.
Has never affected yield, aroma or flavor.
