What we didn't know about that scenario was that the robber's gang kidnapped the cop's wife and would kill her if he arrested anyone.

Things can seem odd when one doesn't know what's going on behind the scenes.

What don't we know about the Putin/Trump scenario that would explain the outcome of their recent meeting?

I don;t have the information in front of me to say if they interfered or not. I will leave open the possibility.

The elephant in the room is the countless number of things he called the USA out for doing and showing the devastating results of those things.

He may be a very bad man, but 99% of the things I think I know about him comes from the same sources. I have no way of knowing. Our press on both sides of the right-left divide has been tainted.

Yeah, pretty much.

But the taste of power is too great.

No amount of sanctions will stop Russian hackers from fucking with our elections. And there will be plenty more besides them, now that the word is out about how insecure our election system really is.

This is exactly why we need to go right back to paper ballots, so there can be a solid offline paper trail of the most literal sort.
