Kaboom thoughts

Sitting here smoking the first test blunt and watching this Joe McCarthy biography documentary I'm pretty happy. I smoked a few bowls yesterday and felt alright but half way through burning this one I'm seeing a new side of these buds. The load was dry enough for jars last night and overnight they reached 61% humidity in the jar. I averaged about 6 grams per main head. The plant was small about half the size of the Qrazy Trains I have going now. I was afraid of it having the 3x stretch like in the description for it but this particular plant doesn't have the explosive stretch factor. I think the Kaboom clone will yield just a bit more then this one because it's only a little taller.

The smoke itself is pretty satisfying its definitely a sativa, huge head rush and is going to perfect for the paper I have to write in a few hours (not about McCarthy lol). The buds still carry the lime smell but I'm sure in a few weeks in those jars will amp those fragrances up. By the way that blunt has been out for a while stopped right in the middle of it to get this all on here and that half blunt was better then a lot of what I see around my area for sure. This kaboom definitely has some pain releif qualities ranging from upset stomach to my screwed up back.

Overall down the road if the circumstances were correct I wouldn't think twice about doing a large pheno hunt with it.

After further inspection while trimming the Plushberrys back Plushberry two has popped some preflower pollen sacks right next to female preflowers. Time to meet the bolt cutters.

Yea I sexed that one but sexd it early (at the first sign of pistols) then threw it back into veg, If I let it sex for a few more days I probably would have seen the sacks too.


Its actually a good thing in my opinion. Gives me more space and I can get something else going instead for the future. I only had room for 3 cuttings of the different phenos anyways. I was going to have to push one back a few weeks to keep it in veg and then get the cutting when a spot opens up. Now I have no worries. Its a relief.

well thats good, things are looking really good, a lot of high quality bud on those colas, must be really stinky. Are you growing all of those plants in flower under 1 600watt HPS?

Does your QT #4 and #6 smell like lemon fuel when you brush up against it? Have a feeling I got a similair pheno judging by the pictures.... My other pheno is more grape astringent smelling and produces tighter rock-hard buds, but both pheno's I absolutely love.

That would be the querkle leaning pheno... The buds querkle and querkle leaning phenos/strains are some of the hardest, densest buds I've ever seen... Post some pics of that one if you could....

I dont know why the one was labeled #6, Thats actually #2. I dont get lemon smells from number 2 but number 4 definitely has a lemon fuel smell. Number 4 I at least think leans more towards the train wreck lineage based on bud formation to me. Thats just my hypothesis so far.

Congrats.... That is an awesome pic, no denying that.... It looks like it was grown to perfection.... I can not wait to do QT.... I have 5 packs of qt and qush on deck and qt is definitely next... I cant say enough about querkle and its crosses, its one strain I really really like.
