quantum boards or cobs for a 4x4?

Hello guys, im saving money for a led light and Ive seen good results with both cobs and quantum boards. I was thinking about getting 11 cobs Growmau5 kit or 3 quantum boards. Do I need more lights to maximize the yield? I dont mind using a little more power. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello! I am wondering if you can even get the quantum boards right now, I just bought a couple of the 11 GM kits from Australia. Looks like really nice kit. I intend to hang them on an aluminum railing made by Fortress the 8' by 40". Save me a tonne of effort building a scaffold from scrap. Anyway about which to use I would imagine that it is really too soon to know what is better. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Sorry I am no real help, just excited about the new COBs

DIY yourself a HLG 550 which is 4 QBs on 2 HLG 240 drivers. QBs will be back in stock in 2-3 weeks. Also you can't go wrong with COBs either. I would look into VERO 29 C Gen 7 or Citizen before Cree at this time as performance is better and they are cheaper right now.

hey six what sort of g/SF do those monsters put out
Idk off the top of my noggin but i just pulled down a plant that was 700+ grams from this side which is the higher eff 35w side.prob had another 75+ grams of not so dense buds that wont get binned up,prolly go to butter or hash.this was the bigger of 3 plants under 1060w cobs and uv +660nm so around 1270ish watts and ill be disappointed if the other 2 dont go 600g each.
Its all pointless though cause i veg longer right ? :eyesmoke:
