Well fuck, another plan to undermine legalization. Sounds like CA is acting like New Jersey, maybe Christie (Cream) can get a job screwing over that country.

There are just too many kids that are developing psychosis,” said Dr. Karen Igartua, president of the Association des médecins psychiatres du Québec (AMPQ).

Psychiatrists in Quebec are seeingmore and more patients with symptoms of psychosis — hallucinations, like hearing voices or paranoia and delusions — because of their marijuana use.

“Delusions are beliefs, like I might believe that everybody who’s wearing a North Face jacket is part of an international conspiracy group and in winter I find that they’re following me all the time,” Igartua gave as an example. “I’m not making this up. One of my patients said that to me a couple years back.”

Show me such instances, Im certainly not taking his god damned word for it especially when trying to pass off such a ridiculous lie. Evidence says otherwise

And this from an Oct.2017 story:
“When you expose a growing brain to cannabis, you actually change the way it grows and matures,” said Karine Igartua, president of the Quebec psychiatrists group.
Now correct me if I'm confused, but I was under the impression legalization was only for adults. The very definition of an adult is that they have stopped growing, so there is no issue. How many adults with cannabis-induced psychosis has she treated? Probably the same for kids - '0'.
How do young brains do with alcohol? Why are they not as concerned with a known danger?

Off topic....
I'm actually thinking of starting a national campaign to get plain packaging with warning labels mandatory for alcohol products. Government puts warning labels on everything from smokes to laundry detergent and you know cannabis will be no different, why is the no.1 killer drug exempt? Big Booze has killed more people than Big Tobacco. It's time they were held accountable.

This could actually be true. Ever since I moved to this island I've noticed an international conspiracy group that seems to end up everywhere I go. They wear tie-dye shirts and sandals instead of North Face jackets tho....I think the ones with feathers in their hair are the leaders!
You'd have to live here to understand....LOL

I'm in! I don't mind a couple beers once in a while, but if cigarettes and cannabis should have warning labels, so should alcohol.

It seems bizarre that "protecting our children" is consistantly thrown in our faces. Last time I checked tic tacs still look like lithium. Of all the things a child could get into.

Funny how they cry foul at their convenience but meanwhile complain there are not enough studies done yet. That implies they do not have enough information to accurately assess any of their claims.

You have to understand, English is not Quebec’s first language...they always lose any good parts in translation!
