Question about bloom

Got a Q:

I am growing a Jack Herer strain and don't seem to be seeing too many pisils, just buds. I know it sounds weird but I see photos of others having long, lush, green, pistils/hairs growing from buds. I am near the end of flowering but I was never impressed with the pistil/hairs.

I guess my question is: What are main factors for the buds not reching out with pistils/hairs/

nice budshots roaty..it may be just the jack strain..ive noticed that purple strains sometimes do this as well.. id take fat dense nuggies over airy fluffy hairy nugs any day man..nice work.on this and ur purps.

I took a clone, but I think it was off the male Jack I hacked "way back when...". I hope not though. As soon as I get my next purples flowering I will grow some more Jack from seeds to get ready for flower immediately following the purps. I liked the purple I grew and would like to do a 4 plant grow this time, filling the screen instead of only 50%. I hear so much good stuff about the Jack though and haven't smoked any yet.

I have 6 PK clones primed and ready to go into box when Jack is finishes.
