only been growing outdoors for a couple years indoors for a while , my question is the two plants I got outdoors r in 45
Gal smart pots , pretty good size big stalks , they started budding about 3 weeks ago mayb a month today or tomarrow is when the daylight and darkness is at 12/12 , I got decent size buds but there definitely not filled out will these plants start budding even harder since the start of 12/12 has came on ... just something I'm curious about , I feel what is one the plants now are good for the time they started flowering but wondering about the 12/12

12/12 is an indoor trigger to induce flowering. Outdoors they initiate flowering at different dark intervals, nothing magical about 12/12. Outdoor flowering begins much more slowly than indoors, in my experience, but they get to the same place.

Right last year I had set a plant out early that had gotten to big inside and it flowered bc of the less light in early spring then reverted to veg the later to flower , I was just curious these outdoor plants have been flowering for let's say a month now mayb 3 weeks , so if there 8 to 10 weeks plants then 8 to 10 weeks would be putting it around first to 2nd week of October , since u said they flower more slowly then indoors then could I expect a way longer flowering time say end of oct I no all the ways to check em , I got a good indoor setup but kinda new to the outdoor thing ,

And another thing , something has chewed a branch on one of my plants , like the outer layer of the branch which had hardened off to wood like ,... but whatever it was chewed around the branch , cause the branch to slowly die or atlesst work towards dien because the leaves were dropped down buds was empty is moisture almost like it hadn't had water , I use diatomaceous earth , also use a bt spray ,
We've had cold weather the last two weeks at night and daytime temps of like 75 tops so I laided off the spray but
Looks as if I shoulda
Kept on spraying the trunk and lower branches , would it
Be a borer mayb... when I cut the branch off I noticed we're it had been chewed on at that base it was soft and spongy

You shouldnt notice a longer flowering time outdoors...the weather is usually the determining factor on when to harvest outdoors, the last few weeks are critical and a couple days of solid rain and high humidity can quickly lead to rot.

We've had cooler then normal temps , and at night time the humidity goes up to sometimes 95 percent , with day time humidity hitting 40 to 65 percent , we got a lot of dew and fog this time of year , just wondering if I should cover the plants at dark making like roof over em to keep the dew off and if not that mayb place a fan to keep air flow at night time to reduce the chance of mold or rot .. I no last year I had some issues with mold but thinkin it was a lot to do with the plants budding early then goin all summer with bud on em that rotted then new buds formed causing some issues but could also been the night time dew and high humidity
