Question about CFL bulbs

Hey people knew to the site. I have a 2 foot deep 6 foot wide and 7 foot high curtained off area with bubble wrap on inside my room I wanted to run some small CFL energy bulbs like 42 watts probably like 6 bulbs on around 3 plants maybe up to 5 but not sure once they start to gro and wanted to spend some time in the grow stage 18/6 letting the plant grow big. I was wondering if I am able to keep the same bulbs and switch to 12/12 for flowering. If I need to go up on the CFL bulb for flower let me know or if I need to get like a 400 watt set up. If 400 set up then I don't know the diffence in them to know which is gro bulb and which is flower. Thanx ^crowe^
