question about rdwc

So I am thinking about in investing in taking my 5 gallon buckets and turning them into a rdwc unit with a 30 gallon controller and a 50 gallon res. So in the buckets you change them out once per week. How do you do a change out in rdwc?

I tried looking for this info elsewhere, but I was unsuccessful....

Maybe you could add a valve like what you see at McDonald's on the tea canisters. Open to drain and then close and refill. Not sure if it would help without seeing a pic of your setup. If that doesn't sound helpful then maybe you could use a shopvac to drain and then refill with clean mixture.

pretty much same scenario, except now u only have 1 res to change. Gotta put a drain on your res or pump it out
