Question about resin

it was brought to my attention the other night that apparently weed isnt supposed to resin up unless it has chemicals in it. now from my experience smoking which is only 6 years, iv never come across shit that dont get sticky, some more then others but is this really due to the amount of chemicals? good bud dosent resin? im confused here

i believe by resin you are refering to trichomes? which pot has, some more than others, but its apart of the plant.

what information, if you mean that someone told me that and i asked what kind of chemicals and all they said was "that shit they spray on it to grow more", so i just want to know exactly what hes talking about.

Dude thats so UNTRUE. Its not chemicals its just all the ash and stuff from the smoke. You can smoke resin and you will get high.

Straight up false, burning plant matter will produce ash, and burning fresh plant matter produces tar (the "resin" in bowls.) which sticks to the edges of the bowl. You know if your herb has chemicals on/in it. you can taste it.

thankyou, thats what i wanted to hear. cause he thinks the more res the more chems lol and i was baffled by it so i knew you dudes would come through haha. he was also tellin me the crackling when it burns was chems too, kids are just paranoid thinking every breeder wants to poison their weed haha

Well resin is um....

Mostly tar, ash, carbon, some oils, and a good amount of THC.

Sometimes the crackling is because the grower didnt properly flush, ive had weed that blew little sparks out, gave that shit away.
