Question About Ventilation

I plan to use a spare bedroom as a grow room. It's 7 feet high 9 feet wide and 12 feet long. What kind of ventilation set up do I need?

I'm totally clueless when it comes to how many fans I need and where to place them.

Put a white blind up to the window have it rolled down. Then keep the window ajar screw it so it won't blow open if it get windy. The next thing is get a section of mdf/plasterboard and make sure that the side face ing out side matches the coulour of the blind.Cut a hole in the board so you can run a section of venting horse to it seal it with exspanding form.Just put the form around the hole so there will be no light leaks.Let it just hang down so it is about a foot of the floor this will stop light from been seen from outside but bring fresh air in.You are gonna need at least 3 fans for a room that size have them blowing across the top of the plants.I would also run a couple of fresh air horses into the loft space there easy to rectifi if needs be.Paint all the walls matt white and you should have a top grow room that should produce a massive yeild.Get bthe light right and you should have a top grow room that should produce a massive yeild every 8 week. But i would build a seperate little room for mother plants and clones then you are set bro go for it.tyke

You have ventilation for heat and ventilation for smell. You want to keep the room not much over 80 and that may require a good AC in the window. You want a small fan blowing air around but not directly on the plants. Then for odor control there are a million options. I use the odor neutralizer ONA.
