Question concerning light and co2 relation...

On my last grow I used the 24 hour a day light cycle. On this grow I planned to change it to the 18/6 for vegetative because it just seemed more economical and i read in a few places that the extra six hours of light dont do anything...

This was before i bought my green air cd-3 co2 generator. Since I have this supplemental co2, it seems that the 24 hour vegetative cycle would be the best. I just assumed this becuase the plants would be cracked out on that co2 and would probably need all the light they could get...

Should I go for the 24/0 or the 18/6?

i would stick with 18/6. the plants need the dark cycle, the plant converts its energy to root structure in the dark time. and with good roots, it can survive better and the plant will overall be stronger.

also, even tho the plant does consume co2 during the light hours, i think it will still do better with a few hours of dark. and if you have a co2 generator, your plants going to do wonders anyways.
