Question for Lighting?

Planning on a grow box, exactly 6 ft long and 2.5 ft deep. The box will be around 7 ft high, but he light nor the plants have to go that high. I will be using a cool tube with reflector for the light, so heat I don't want to hear about. I understand the more lights the better. My question is, which light will effectively cover the amount of space? I would love to be able to stick with a 600watt just for this small box or will a 1000watt be at least needed? Also with a cooltube and sufficient sized fans I don't think heat will be a problem with these lights. The heat from the light will be dumped out of the box.

So basically, will a 600 watt light be capable of lighting the entire length of the room, or no?
Also, for the cooltube, where do I place the fan? Pulling air from ducting out of the room after the air passes over the light, or do I want the fan pushing air over the light? Thanks for the help and + rep to those who help.
