I'm going in Friday for my appointment and need to know what I need to put on my paperwork. I am wanting to grow myself but while waiting am looking to either get a caregiver or visit a comassion club nearby to get my meds while I wait to harvest. Is this possibe and if so what do I check on my paperwork to be able to do this. Thanks for readingthis post and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you're already growing. If this is the case I'd just list yourself as the person who will be handling the plants. No caregiver necessary. You can go to a local dispensary with your paperwork and buy your meds until you crop.
No I'm not growing yet but I will be as soon as my 21 days is up but am wanting to buy ness while I wait for plans t get done. Can I do this and if so what do I put on my paperwork to be able to do this? Hope this makes sense. Want to do this all legally as I don't want these privileges ever taken away once I get them.

The reality is that none of the above will be "legal" until the state has been in possession of your paperwork for at least 25 days. If I were you I'd just name yourself as the caregiver, start your growing on day 25, and purchase your meds through compassion clubs/dispensaries until you reach harvest. Nobody will want to be a short-term caregiver for you, mess with the state paperwork, only to have you doing your own thing in a couple months anyway.

agree with everything you say except its 20 days , thats what it says in the law atleast, however, some dispencerys and other go by 15 days for some reason....
actually it says 21 days in the law. you can only apply as growin your own or with a caregiver. if you assign a caregiver you cant legally grow your own until you and your caregiver sign some forms and send them in the get you on your own. i would do what the dude up there said, apply with no caregiver and wait 21 days to start growin. thats what ya gota do to be legal anyway..
You need to wait for the 21 days because according to law of the Medical Marijuana ID carda a valid motor vehicle driver license, current valid California vehicle registration bearing your name and residency is necessary. There is a complete legal formalities for the qualified patient and primary caregiver.
