Hey peps......OK in dwc when your root ball pretty much has the inside of your bucket filled.....how is the air pump working sufficiently if the air stone is smothered by the roots ???

If the airstones are submersed in water(water line above them, regardless of roots surrounding or not) the air coming out of them only has the choice of putting the air into the water, in turn oxygenating the water.

I have had that thought before too...it all works in the end though so whatever

I'm a dwc newbie, although it's the only thing I have been reading about for the past 2 months. done only soil grows until now.

Happy to help how I can, you can send emails to users "inbox"

But again I am sure there are plenty of peeps who can talk circles around me, been getting plenty of help myself getting started. lmk!

DWC is fascinating. I may have to experiment with it now that temps have come down. I like organic because it is VERY low maintenance when your soil mix is dialed in.
