Im growing with Emily's Garden Hydroponic system. Its a wick hydro system that holds 6 plants in only a 2 gallon resevoir. Im growing 3 skunk #1 seeds from nirvana shop and only want them 3.6-4ft after flowering(i know veg until they are 1 ft). How often am i going to haveto refill the resevoir from veg1in - veg6in - veg 13in - flowering 2.5-4.0 feet? And one final thing i dont understand is this wick system - the plants are actually floating in a 1 gallon resevoir filled with medium in the nutrients and water... the pump jump pumpes them through to the roots.... what happens when the roots get to the bottom of the container and are sitting directly in the nutreint and water?

my clones are 6 inches tall and starting to bud. I've kept them under light for 24/7 for at least amonth. they are shrubbing good but are they gonna produce, or am I wasting my electric???

I watre my full grown plants maybe once a week in 3 gallon pots which are not massive by anymeans 3 gallon pots are quite small 30 gallon pots are big.People use digital ph pens as they are more accurate and cheaper then paper test or liquid test kits. You can get a good sunleaves or hana new on ebay for about $28 bucks shipped...That 2 gallon res dictate has is way to small for 6 plants.A 6 plant setup for gamja should be no less then a 20 gallon res.You got a grow setup for dill and parsley my friend..Where did you find a 1500 watt mh light from never seen one ever?? and yeah 6 inch plants under 1500 watt lights can be a little issue if they are from seeds

Your clones have pre-flowers. You need to change the light schedule to actually start them budding... unless they're an auto-flowering strain.

is this a decent setup?

me and my fiance are using 18 one gallon pots and have all our testers and compounds and shit but we are true noobs to growing from seeds...
usually I would purchase a clone from a friend...
our lights are correct too I have a 400w HPS light for flowering... but thats in a seperate room for complete darkness for 12 hours...
I like soil because its more hands on...
anyways my point is, will these trees branch and is there a way to make them branch?

Do you just have those two duel tube 2 foot fixtures? you need more light IMHO...

u have to be carefull useing those meters cuase first it doesnt mesure the hole pot equaly
u have to keep poping holes in the dirt to check everywhere and then at one point or another sometimes u could be hiting a dry pocket or some perlite and that could throw off those meter readings thats why its good to use ur fingers to measure moisture.just put ur finger down like a inch or so if dry water it

Nature did it first but did humans do it best? Think about how crazy the bud has become over the past 50 years. Technology makes it easier and more effective to grow great bud in large quantities.

Hey guys I am a newb also! I wanted to know is taking them outside during the day and inside with a light ALL night ok? these are two day old clones (White Widow and Blueberry) I heard sun is the best if possible so I was doing a mixture of both - but my question lies if my temp is reading in the 90's where the plants are is that ok even if its outside?

hi, i'm using 2L pots and my plants are about 8" tall... i normally water them every 3 or 4 days.

my question is:
how much water should i be giving them? should i just pour equally around the pot until water starts coming out the bottom or be giving them a set amount to help promote root growth? (if i give them less then the roots will have to travel to the water)

whats your views on this?

Bump... I been searching and have the same question. Water evenly (as much as possible) till water starts draining and stop? I realize in time you should be able to determine about how much that is.

Thanks guys.
