It's harvest time outdoors but rain has struck. I harvested half but it started raining and continued raining for a week, and will continue for at least another week.
Nothing in the shed will dry in the humidity of puddles around constantly.
What I've done is buy a bunch of giant moisture absorbing dry packs. I cut the largest stems and progressing mold off, and sealed them in buckets and garbage bags with the dry packs. They were bone dry within about 3 days.
Clearly I've abandoned going for a good flavor by a slow dry and cure, but are there any health & safety concerns here?
"Absorgel is made only of PE/PP plastics and salt, which are non-toxic and recyclable (Eco-Friendly). The product is a one-time product and can be disposed with regular waste."
