Quick Flowering Question

Does anyone know if more light equals faster flowering time?

I have a 1500 watt MH in the 3000-4000 spectrum (you can see the set up in the pic), and i was wondering, due to time constraints, if i could bet on the plants bieng done flowering in 8,rather then 10 weeks, as the grower estimates...

No, flowering is genetic. More light will produce bigger yield but flowering should remain a constant.

Dude 1500w Mh in such a small space no wonder you´re having heat probs....

Invest in a good reflector. That will concentrate the light onto the plants. You are wasting too much light on lighting the walls.

The big light WILL speed up veg time and make for shorter internodes and more compact plants. BUT ... just like Skunk said ... flowering time is genetic.
