Quick light question ----

first grow - i don't really have enough cash right now to go buy a new ballast and lamp for a 1000 watt HPS... i've got a 600 MH right now, anyways - just informed the house is up for sale in 2 to 3 months and i need to put this stuff into bloom tonight - they've been in veg for a good two months now. onto the question -

if i put a piece of red cellophane under the lamp thats heat resistant will it be better then just letting the cool blue spectrum hit the plants? i know its going to reduce the lumens but whats worst? a little less light or the wrong spectrum?

Unless you were absolutely certain the light passing through was the right spectrum (which is dubious), I believe it would be worse (harvest and every other-wise) to put the red cellophane on your light than just flowering with an MH bulb.
