My lemon skunk buds are hanging, they have been drying for 4-5 days and still feel a bit wet to the touch, but the stems pretty much snap. I realise this is to early for the jar stage due to its moisture, but why are my stems snapping. i have had some ppl on here tell me to put buds in jars when stems "almost"snap, kinda like mine now but they are to wet????/

any feed back is mad appreciated, thanks.

how wet we talking about here? Like you see water droplets on things? What is the humidity of the area you are drying it in? Do you have a fan or some kind of air movement around the buds? If the stems are snapping its usually safe to start jarring them...the jarring equalizes the moisture throughout the bud, and the burping done several times a day releases the moisture that builds up as its curing. You can probably start jarring them now, empty the jars out daily into a flat area of cardboard and let them sit out for an hour or so, then put them back into the jars...you can also put silica gel packs in the jars to soak up moisture...if your buds are huge its going to take a while for the center to dry out, so you might want to cut them into smaller pieces :)

RH in the room is 65% the temp is 70 degrees. i do not have a fan as i learned it dryes it to quickly locking starches and chloryphil in the buds for a leafy hay taste and smell.
um, the buds are def not crisp at all, i mean its not like the stems are snapping they jus kinda break and fold. almost ready i was thinking paper bag for the day possibly jar tomorow??
Also if jarring is started earlier ( while buds are still pretty wet) and you burped more than usual keeping close eye, would this draw more flavour and aroma out? or simply make it mold easier?

I wouldn't put it in jars if it feels wet because there would be a good chance of molding. Continue hang drying until they start to feel dry. I put mine in paper bags for a couple days before jarring. Then make sure to burp the jars regularly and take them out and put them back in every once in a while.
