Quick Transplant Question.

Hey I transplanted today, and watered them right after I transplanted, when should I water again? Not sure if I am suppose to treat transplants like clones, and always keep the soil moist or what. I transplanted from the ground into a 18 inch pot, with MG and perlite. Plant is outdoors its about 10 inches high, temps are about 75-80. 5 weeks old.

Thanks : )

They shouldn't need water for a few days as long as you pre-moistened the soil before transplanting. If you want to be sure about watering you can pick up a water meter at most places with garden supplies for around $7. They're a good investment.

Well it has been two days since transplant, and the top leaves look alright, but the bottom leaves seem to... I think heat stressed. They are almost black, and twisted. Really badly blackened, top leafs however are lookin not to bad, not sure whats going on. I transfered into some Mg moisture control, maybe the nutes burned them really badly?? Im not sure, ill try and get a picture tonight for you guys. Later

the lowest leaves tell the tale of overall root health.

could have been some damage to the root ball on transplant?

did you give a high P fert immediately following transplant (this would be a good thing)?
