Raising humidity

I just hung my buds in my grow tent to dry, my humidity is sitting at 30% so I'm trying to raise it
Just wondering if I put a humidifier in the tent will work? It would be under the buds so it will be misting up through some of the buds when it's running

My humidity is at 34 now with the humidifier in the tent
This is what I'm using image.jpgIt's a warm mist humidifier and my temps stay around 19-22 degrees Celsius

I don't want to dry my buds to fast but I also don't want mold

Well I tried getting the humidity up, I got it to around 50 and when I check this morning my humidifier was empty and humidity was sitting around 33% the out side of the buds are crispy and some of the rest small branches are snapping so I'm thinking I better get them into mason jars before the dry out to much. The plants only been hanging since Saturday so 3 days, I don't think I should risk leaving them any longer. Hopefully they will still cure up nice and have a smooth smoke

I also deal with this. You may want to consider jarring them to sweat the moisture back thoroughly through the bud. But only until till they r soft and "wet" feeling again. Then set them out again. Then repeat. What helps a lot is having a humistat in the mason jar with the buds. As far as I understand you want to get the buds to 70percent rh until they r ready for the cure. When I'm in ur boat I just jar them until it reads over 70 then take em back out, repeat until 70 or slightly lower the. I just open the jars 2 times a day for 5 minutes until I'm down to 62. Then just a once a day burp for an air exchange is all you need. Good luck. I really recommend doing a lot of reading about curing and get it right. Another way to get RH up in a tent is boil a pot of water and put it in tent and vent it with its lid only ever so slightly. No electricity needed :) fan for temp control but never pointed at the buds.

Don't use that. That's a warm mist. You need an ultrasonic humidifier. It doesn't raise the temp. You can either stick it inside. Or right outside the intake vent. There's models you can get with a 8" base. It'll replace a two gallon pot. On low, it'll run a day and half. Teaspoon of H202 to the water...to keep it fresh.
