random plants around the city

im thinking of planting randomly placeing clones around the city in the spring for the fun of it i was thinking of using tims cups (paper cups) but would they let the plant root through it or will i have to help it by putting a bunch of holes in it

i would use a dixie cup (little paper shot glass cups)

and put the soil and sprout them in there and then stick that in the dirt and im sure the roots will go thorugh it

I did this once and it was great i planted 17 clones at 3:00am all around my neighborhood 10 female 7 male(for fun) most died of transplant shock but 3 females 1 i harvested 2 were taken, and 4 males survived. once most of the plants reached about a foot, people started to see them peeking out from behind bushes at intersections.
