Ready for 12/12?

Evening lovely people.

Having first grow indoor, need some advice regarding size.

I ve had them plants in here for almost 4 weeks. 3 weeks was on 24/0 under to 600v sodium lamps. 5 days ago switched to 18/6.

I am being told to put them on 12/12 at the end of this week but I'm pretty sure I would need at least couple more inches on them? My friend that supposed to help me with grow has dissappeared somewhere so I'm bit stuck.

Also when would you put the net in, as I ve got it siting and waiting, but don't want to jump ahead.

BTW It is incredible bulk. So if anyone had any experience with it would really appreciate the help.

Thank you _20180111_005247.JPG _20180111_005349.JPG _20180111_005446.JPG _20180111_005556.JPG

C890E711-6AA8-4CC3-9EF3-7032F2109306.jpeg Put in the screen now if you want to scrog. Id press it down on them and flatten out that canopy carefully, let them stand back up and set them into flower. Personally the way i do scrog is to grow the plant directly into the screen so i wouldve had it there from the start.

If your plan was just to add a trellis for support around the buds ive never done that.

It might be some work putting in the screen but i see those plants getting fat enough to need the support. Normally you set a scrog into flower when its 70-80% full to keep some of the stretch below the screen. Good luck!

I want a full canopy, my friend kept insisting that it won't work, also I had the clones from him, all came in different sizes etc so was a mission to get them. Where they are, apparently hes been doing it for +10 years but with small yields, I'm gonna fit the net tomorrow and hopefully with in two weeks have a full canopy ( fingers crossed) first grow again in 7 years so fair bit has changed. What plant food would you recommend also for that stage, in UK BTW. Many thanks

I used to use the foxfarm trio in soil but honestly was never too pleased with the results. Lately ive been running hydro with floranova bloom and from what ive read it works very well in soil as well. Its a one part nutrient so very simple. Has everything most plants will need in flower in one bottle. Have you been feeding them up to now? If so what have you been giving them? Theyre doing great

So far I ve been using this. As I ve mentioned I ve lost contact with my friend so not sure what would be best for flowering. I'm gonna have a look at what you ve suggested now and see how quick I can get it. This is what my friend has dropped off with the clones

There you go for the second bottle, and thanks for the link :)
Those both have more nitrogen than phosphorous so id suggest getting something else for flowering. You want high nitrogen for veg and higher p and k for flower. As plants start into bud development theyll want more phosphorous and as they enter ripening theyll want more potassium. Floranova bloom has ratio of 4-8-7.
You could start a thread for canna terra flores if you want to use that line but havent totally figured it out. I have no experience with that.

Also remember not to use flowering nutes too early. Theyll want the same stuff youve been giving them for the first few weeks of flower while they stretch. A lot of ppl go straight to bloom nutes immediately and lose tons of leaves to n def.

Thanks for that, didn't know about it, I would of just switch straight to next one. I have couple of bottles of this one. I will read up on both of them and see what info I will find, from the link you ve posted before I think the canna stuff will be the best.

That pk boost could make a world of difference. That with your current canna might do the trick.. id consider going with the regular amt of your canna nutes and 1/4 of that amt in pk boost. Say your applying a teaspoon per gallon canna youd want 1.25ml per gallon bloom boost. Thats what i would try. Keep reading in that thread. Their pk 13/14 is the canna brand but its the same as your bloom boost. So the information there is all you need

Don't drop N in flower, stick with something along the lines of a 3-1-3 / 3-1-2 ratio until mid bloom where you add a little P and K. Look online for local auth water info and it will tell you if it's soft water (use calmag). The nutes you are using are ok but costly and take too long to get dialed in when having to tailor P-C-M rates, conversions and blah. Only thing I liked about the canne brand I've used is it's ph buffer. Anyway, Pm me if you are interested in a cheaper yet more effective nute regime.

Btw some of the upper leaves look like they are becoming deficient.

For some reason their normal start a conversation thing isnt there for me when i click their name. You should be able to click your name up in the corner, go to conversations, start a new conversation, and type Flowki into participants and they’ll come up

Stick with the canna terra. Buy the flores and just run that for flower. Don’t need all the boosters etc for first grow in a while. Run the base and see how that goes then once you have a baseline add more and see what makes a difference for you. I also say flower ASAP bend them down so all plants and shoots are even height set your bet so it’s at that height and flip. Pull the shoots to the next box as they come above the net . Only do it for the first week and a half to two weeks then let them go. You will be happy with the canna terra flores alone I promise. If you really want to buy additives get the pk 13/14 and run it weeks 3 and 5 and that’s it. Maybe run it on two of the four plants and see what the difference is. My guess is better weight but poor taste compared to the straight base. Always has been my experience with any heavy P and K nutrients especially the high concentration boosters. Good luck your on your way to a nice harvest:

Cheers man, just finished setting up the net,I would imagine that in couple of days all of them should be at the same height. And thanks, fingers crossed it will be a decent one!
