Ready to Harvest? Help...

I'm 9 weeks into 12/12, hairs are starting to turn BRN, right now about 20-30%, however, all the leaves are still green with no sign yet of turning yellow due to maturity. I don't want to harvest prematurely, one plant does have 50% brown hairs (but all leaves healthy), it is ahead of the others, that is why I'm confused. I see other pictures of mature plants and the leaves are all yellow. If you ask about the trichomes, they seem to be slightly milky. Could it be that they are ready and the leaves just accumulated excess Nitrogen and its taking longer to turn yellow?

Yes some people's plants yellow very little if at all ,,depending on how you feed em.....you wana watch your trichs with a loupe to judge when to harvest ....my plants look like they've been through war by the time there done ....it's all about how you feed em .....pics and more info would be helpful .....also what strains are they autos or not etc etc.

Cannabis is a nitrogen lover. If there's not enough in the soil. It'll eat the nitrogen stored within the leaves. You get the fall colors when the nitrogen is reduced in middle to late flower.

If it stays green all the way to ripen. It never had a nitrogen deficit.

some strains will continually sprout more white hairs. but if I didnt have a loupe, I would wait until at least 90% of hairs are orange and the calyxs swell. checking trics is still the best way.

Good point ....the swell is another good indicator and one I forgot to mention above. @chemphlegm I've never had bad results being more patient either .....my mentor taught me many years ago ...when I think it's done,, wait ten more days ....that's how I learned a lot can happen in the last bit ....also some strains don't swell until the finish line ....we all make mistakes when we first start out and try new things ...but I hate to even think about how many times as a youngster I took plants that looked done,,but didn't even get there oppurtunity to bulk/swell:wall:

I grow lots of OGK for my cancer patients/friends ....and IMO OGK is a strain that bulks/swells rite at the end .....after it looks done .....difference between little buds that are decent .....and dense turds that are fire fire ,,,can literally be 10 days .

Hey I was pretty please waiting a couple more weeks with mine, the loupe helped a lot on determining when to chop or not

OK, thx for the comfort of your replies...
These are TahoeOG and GG, first run, newbie. I did nute them pretty good even knowing that newbies over-nute and I am an example of that. The other half of my newbie story is that I had a couple of GSC where the BUDS stayed popcorn size and I don't know where along the way I went wrong b/c I treated them all equally. The GSC I already harvested, the hairs like melted against the buds, hardly ever stood up. Like when you put a lot of GEL in your hair, that's how the hairs used to look like. They all turned brown mostly and I figured BUDS were not going to get any bigger.
