Ready to swap beer for pot? Many Canadians will be, once it’s legal

The local brewery has 68% of the market share here, and there is another craft brewery near town....having said that, I don't think beer consumption in the north is going to change by any significant amount. I know more people who smoke than don't these days....and they like their beer!

I don't drink often but when I do smoking makes me want to drink more and drinking makes me want to smoke more. It's a great combination for people who want to make money off my bad decisions

I think Canada is a bit different, we didn't live in fear of going to jail for smoking a joint or even for growing like in the US and having your life pretty much ruined. Also those states have 14mil less people than all of Canada in a area way smaller than all of Canada.

I wouldn't trade even mediocre weed for beer. I might if it were rum or cider though.

I quit drinking beer and substantially increased my cannabis consumption about 8 years ago. I'm a trend setter! lol
