reducers on cooltubes

hi i wanted to know what ppl think about putting reducers on cooltubes so as to use a 4" fan and filter.

i would not ....................by limiting self to a 4 inch u have made it if u ever upgrade u have to buy a 2nd set plus a bigger fan

i am currently running 2 600w cool tubes with 1 400cfm 6 inch fan

It doesn't make a difference. Mine work fine.

A smaller tube will not push out as much heat so there will need to be a larger distance between the light and the plants. If you can do it then wither get a full 6" or bigger pipe and a 6" fan or add a second exhaust pipe so you can benefit from the total exhaust area. A 4" fan is better than nothing.
