Panda film or Flat white paint. Why is paint not an option?

Flat white paint is one of the Best reflective surfaces.

If you cant paint, and can't find mylar, use the Black/White poly.

I need a reflector for cfl's.. thats why lol, no fire blankets or poly either.. =(

Why didnt you say so? You know the easiest and cheapest thing to do would be to get a piece of aluminum, maybe 1/16" sheet, and a pair of tin snips, cut and fold to desired shape. Total cost could be under $5-10

Also if your lazy hit up a local second hand store, or dollar store, you could buy big aluminum bowls for like $1-2, they can be easily modified as well, just drill a hole and hang your light in it.

I just bought a 10x10 roll of panda film on eBay for 17.95. Didnt need that much but I think it was a good deal for under 20 bux.

Yeah i did nothing but mylar except panda plastic to block any light gaps behind it, and looking back, some panda and white paint where i didnt need to blink light would have been a bit less costly. Took 2 rolls of 100 feet of mylar..... way to costly concidering the cheaper alternatives effectiveness
