Reservoirs ph rising fast ?

My reservoirs ph rises almost 1 whole point within 4-5 hours so I set it like at 5.8. I've read that air pumps make ph rise so I set my pump low but it still didn't work. What can I do ?

You must have a pretty small reservoir for it to change so quickly? Also with so little nutrient at this stage, it is easier for the phto be affected by what the plant is releasing in the water as it grows.
ph was at 6.7 so I lowered it to 5.3 cuz I know in their morning it'll be above 7
Exactly what I would do.

Yeah I just moved it in a 5 gallon bucket a few days ago to make changing the water easier, before it was in a 18 gallon tub but I still had the same issues but I didn't have any Calmag in it at the time, I just added that yesterday.

im still learning in DWC, there is 2 schools for the root rot prevention, 1 is sterile and one is bennies, sterile is keeping reservoir temps below 65 and using peroxide in the system, the other school suggests using bennies, some beneficial bacteria , on problem from using beneficial bacteria is PH fluctuations when bennies effect wears off PH starts to go down dramatically, and when the bennies are populating PH starts to go up, maybe thats the case as Im dealing with this now, also make sure that your PH meter is calibrated- just in case.

use phosphoric acid for ph down. i'm not in hydro, but i ph my res. and again 24hrs. later then it stays damn near stable for over a week. no air stones, i use a small pump.

I'm having the same issue , I use cannazym , I think my nutrient levels are to high its above 1000ppm , should that be the problem ?

EC at the stage your plants are at should be no more than 0.6 if your backround ec is around 0.3
Adjust to that and pour water over the pebbles a few times to flush it out, until you arrive at 0.6 or so.

yes my PH its going up like crazy !!!

What should I do ¨?
if Ph is going up it means one of 2 things, you are having so much biological activity, (cannazym is working) so in this case make sure to use some PH down, you will need to check the tank 3 times a day at this period, until its stable, (adding more cannazym will make PH go up again) so dont add that untill the PH is perfect, and stable, when the PH starts to go down use cannazym to bring it up.
