resin/residue/tar question...

hello all,

for those out there w/ expertise or just experience with that black, disgusting residue left in your bowl after smoking it a while, does that resin/residue/tar contain THC?

i only ask b/c i wonder if smoking that putrid mess will cause you to fail a urine analysis test. please include any anecdotal or chemical evidence. will smoking that junk make u fail a UA?

well since you can collect the resin out of your bowl and smoke it (like i do when i REALLY need to) and get high then yes it has THC in it. And yes if you smoked it before your UA then yes you need to clean yourself out again or your boned lol.

Resin. We hate to love it. Wait...or is it love to hate it? Damn it, I dont know! Looks like I'm out of bud. It's time to grab the piece and scrape for some tasty resin.

to follow up, i have read that there are other active chemicals in marijuana that contribute towards a "high." could these substances be in higher concentration in bowl residue? what is the idea around THC concentration in this residue/resin? is it higher or lower than bud?

the idea that pipe residue is like hash or actual bud resin is slightly absurd to me. resin from weed, unburned and harvested, is brown/green/or yellowish. that is basically HASH. how can this residue, considerably burned, contain a high level of thc, then?
