Can you microdose Rick Simpson Oil for general anti cancer properties and health benefits?

What would the benefits be if so? Thinking bout making some.

.

Rick uses some pretty toxic solvents in his process, I'd make tincture using the Magical Butter Machine - 95% grain alcohol - then reduce the mixture over a low heat until only the paste remains.

Let me see if I can find you a video:

Somewhere in here ..

I don't know about the "anti" effects, but if it cures I'd think it would also prevent. There's so much other good stuff that it could actually be good for you in other ways.

For one thing, I've read that MJ has more vitamins than kale. I've messed with beet vitamins some in my home lab. When you extract from beets you do an ethanol wash first. What you get is a yellow colored tincture, almost like quick wash. Then you do a water wash and it's the red that you would expect. All the oil based vitamins are in the tincture. Aren't the vitamins going to be in the RSO? I think so.

RSO doesn't have to be that ugly tasting stuff. Check out cannabishomesciences.com. They have a new way of making RSO. Thay say you can make a batch in 2 hours, start to finish.

All methods of Cannabis use promote better general health from my seat over here. Even in my pure smoking years I walked through life without a fraction of the sick days of all the people around me. My change to high potency edibles a decade ago has been even more dramatic as I seem resistant to most everything. "Did you have that nasty stomach bug that was going around last month?"" Huh what bug?" LOL
Regular weed based edible oil is all you need. You're going to micro dose anyhow so no real need for a high potency base.

I've thought of this as well. My thinking is that if high doses of RSO over relatively short periods of time(like within a few months for cancer patients) is beneficial, then wouldn't small doses of RSO over longer periods of time(like years maybe) also be beneficial, in a preventative way? I've been using RSO almost every day for about 6 months. I use various amounts as I need just on the tongue with coffee or some other beverage. I sometimes step up dosing throughout the day, sometimes take a single larger doses and ride that out, and sometimes take true microdoses. This hypothesis has certainly crossed my mind at times, but I'm not specifically using it for a medical benefit. I just really love it!

I am in the middle of my very first grow, and I was hoping to make some RSO of my own using trim and avb bud I have stored up. Interestingly, I really like the prospect of making a racy, sativa based RSO. I've had a few samples of RSO that put amphetamines to shame. I was racing around my workplace like crazy! I actually don't care as much about the restful, heavy RSO feeling that is so common

Worth noting that the body's endocannabinoid system is responsible for regulating inflammation, so no reason to think cannabis wouldn't help in this regard.

With this being your first grow it's probably going to be the most you've had for just making stuff. Before you jump right straight into RSO game why not start with a few simple infusions just to get the feel of it.

For sure, I want to experiment and learn how to make things at my own pace over time. Hash techniques, pressing flower, tinctures and topicals, RSO etc. I've only ever made cannabutter and infused some coconut oil with RSO in the past.
