Good day everyone,

To keep it short,

Are the Roleadro COB lights worth buying? I've found a 400w that sells for $99.99 and a 400w that sells for $199.99. Both claim full spectrum/have decent reviews yada yada

Long Story:

I have been reading this forum religiously over the past few days and I am very intrigued with the idea of adding LED to the setup I am putting together. I need to add an additional light to my 4x4 flowering tent as I only have a 400w HID at the moment. I thought getting into an LED would allow me to not have to run additional duct and not bring in quite as much heat. However, I do not feel comfortable making my own.

My problem is my budget is under $200. I don't know if this will get me anything worth buying compared to an HID set up. I can buy a *decent* 600watt HID setup for under $150 as I already have the air cooled hood. But I'm really itching to get into the LED game and I thought maybe I could buy something valuable if it was just a supplement to the 400w HID

Thank you for your time

No, not really. No LED you buy for 200 ( or even 400) will compete with a 600w HPS. The fact that you have the cooling gear already makes it a no brainer, go with the HPS.

Maybe consider LED for you next run?
