Rollitup... a new dawn

Rollitup is massive now... growing daily with no hint of giving up the ghost of gaining a google of members.

There's been a lot of excitement the past couple of days, not least to mention this Duel Forum. An excellent idea that invites all members of rollitup to throw in ideas.

This is a community, and as a community we need to pull together to make this a happy, informative and even entertaining place to visit. Please, all visiting this thread, pay a visit to the link... participate if you can, at least vote if you can't.

couldnt agree w/ you more on that skunk, lets participate!!!

hopefully this place will fill Overgrows shoes someday, only a hundred thousand members to go, but this place is definatly much better than any other growsite since OG died. IC mag is ok but just doesn't quite have what OG had and what rollitup has good potential of attaining.

How many grow sites are there with how many members? the email adress I set up was in a false name, false address the lot. Rollitup is very secure with our IP's.

What they going to do investigate all 12, 000 of us? Haven't they got enough to do?

The thing is with any policing service, they don't like to work. They like to catch people when they fall in their laps.

Look at it like this... Robbery statistics. Say in any one police zone there are 20 robberies that day. The robbery squad consists of 5 or 6 men/women. They have 24 hours to solve 20 robberies. It can't be done, so they prioritise. The more violent for example taking precedence along with viable evidence. The less violence and less evidence you leave on a robbery then the chances are you're crime is not even going to investigated properly in the first place.

they do bust people off websites, they busted people off overgrow, they have even busted people off u tube ,but like skunky said dont be stupid and make it as hard as possible for them .as long as your not bragging about dealing or the huge amount of plants your growing you should be ok .be carefull posting pics too ,dont give them anything that they can trace you too.

The short answer might have been because the server where the forum is hosted is outside of the US Federal laws jurisdiction.

yes, an excellent point.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on the legal relationship the US feds have with that country. When it comes to offshore internet gambling, the US feds have been able to trace and arrest the owners, even when the server was not in the US. When they want you, they will get you. The key is not to do have them want you. Is it worth their time and money to bust me and my 2 plants? Probably not. Would it be worth their while to bust a large scale grower with hundreds of plants with a street value of a couple million? You bet.

This is precisely the same story I get from an ex-cop who happens to be my very best customer.

In terms of what you'll get busted for with pot growing websites- talk all you want about your op, post (unidentifiable) photos, talk about dealing weed... but NEVER try to swap seeds or trade buds via one of these sites. It's going that last step, to moving materials around, that will get you gigged.

Never have any direct contact WHATSOEVER with other forum users- that means NO MSN/ICQ/other IM, email (except Gmail) or even rollitup's own Chat facility, which is simple Internet Relay Chat (IRC). All of these give away your IP but Gmail, which conceals the originating IP. However, Gmail WILL have a record of your IP and would probably give it up under subpoena. Rollitup PMs are fairly safe, provided rollitup's server is never seized as was Overgrow's.

I laughed out loud when I read your comment because it was almost the exact words of this ex-cop. It was really funny to hear that cops are slackers all over, but not actually very surprising. Cops are just like any other ordinary, lazy public service wonks, but with arrest powers...

I have to correct myself a bit... public service wonks are sometimes lazy, but more often are doing a deliberate go-slow to piss off their 'little Hitler' bosses. Public servants are on the front line between political will and reality- and it can suck a lot.
